About Me

Joel is a thirty something self proclaimed geek living in sunny South Florida with his beautiful wife, son, and three cats.  He’s a graduate of the Florida Atlantic University and makes his living working for a Fortune 200 company as an Information Security Analyst; saving the world a little bit everyday.

Joel enjoys various activities including reading, photography, listening to music, watching movies, Aikido, computer gaming, working on geek stuff, and spending time with  family.  He also enjoys playing guitar, although characterizing it as “playing” is opened to the listener’s interpretation.

As a joint hobby Joel and his wife, Jamie, collect autographs and enjoy attending local comic, anime, or toy conventions.

At any given time, Joel has various projects in the works.  His past projects have included home theater computers for each television in their home, various websites, an LCD picture frame, massive in-closet shelfing to contain the family DVD collection, and a play table for his son’s toy trains.
